Innovation and compliance maintenance are key components to the success of an e-Invoicing post rollout project.  Do not risk these components in exchange for proprietary solutions that may not be compatible across the SAP product line and Cloud integration!

SAP recently announced the release of the CFDI notes to complement the existing CFD solution. The main goal and greatest benefit is to provide the flexibility to existing CFD customers the ability to select their own Provider of Certification or PAC, providing a greater level of autonomy and self-sustainability.  It is a positive indicator of SAP’s commitment to the E-Invoicing and localization space for companies with global operations.  Unfortunately, there is still a level of complexity and compliance latency unmet that requires an experienced partner or provider.   The company must consider a partner that considers the eventual stabilization of the E-Invoicing/B2B strategy of SAP and will remain receptive to adopting future SAP functionality. The correct partnership will guarantee your company remains on the forefront of SAP’s strategy for E-Invoicing solutions without sacrificing customer service, while at the same time providing on-time support for change management and for contingency plans.  These providers require the expertise to implement the most current SAP functionality including the use of PI / Netweaver, to avoid the potential of exposing your existing security architecture and allowing the consolidation into only one  communication gateway.

Eventually, a company’s long-term success will be determined by a provider who can maintain a high level of flexibility and sustainability for the end customer.
