A lot has happened in the ABAP world since last SAP TechEd. In fact, beside the enhancements and improvements provided in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.4, a new release - the foundation of SAP S/4HANA and the next SAP enhancement package for SAP Business Suite 7 - is on the way.
Just to mention few of the new deliveries, the ABAP managed code pushdown has reached the next level (kind of Open SQL++, ABAP CDS ++ and AMDP++), the new ABAP programming model for efficiently developing Fiori applications and last but not least, the continuously growing feature matrix of ABAP in Eclipse.
