I was invited to this wonderful chain  Blog It Forward (BIF) Chain by marssel.vilaa2 in his BIF, thanks for this honor, and also to motivate me to engage and participate in Comunidad SAP en Español (Spanish Language Community).

Also thanks to moshe.naveh2 for this wonderful initiative.

My country MEXICO!

I am from Mexico a wonderful country and live in Mexico City one the most crowded cities in the world. I attach some pictures from Mexico.

    Mexico City                                                                Monterrey

    Teotihuacan                                                            Guadalajara

    Cancun                                                                Tulum

My SAP experience:

I started working with SAP since 2007, because the company I used to work implement SAP, I participate as a key user in SD/MM modules, I learned a lot, but as a key user was forbidden to me to customize and set up the system  , I was really hungry to learn and implement more functionallity.

Finally in 2011 finished this cycle and begin a new opportunity as internal SAP consultant in a consumer products company, so since this date I participate in several roll outs for plants in Denmark, Sweden, US, Colombia and Guatemala, obtain more SAP knowledge and the opportunity to travel and get new friends  . Thanks to SCN was there to support me.

Funny situation in a project:

I would like to share with you about a funny situation while I were on a roll out in Denmark, my birthday was celebrated, and a co-worker of the SAP team organized a surprise cake at the end of the day. So he invite to the dining room for a coffee. I do not guess that there would be a surprise party, and when we enter in the dining room one of the key users in the front shout happy birthday!!  with open arms, so I thought she would give me a hug  . You can imagine the look on her face when I hug her!! :???: after that awkward situation the other Danish key users got two steps back and just said Happy Birthday quietly.

In Mexico is a tradtion to give hugs to the birthday boy, but in Europe they are "colder" than latinoamerican people. After that we ate cake with a flag of Denmark as tradition for Danish people, in Mexico we put small candles in the cake one for each year you celebrate.

Me and my family:

I born and grew up in Ojo de Agua a little town near Mexico city (at this time is part of the big Metropolitan city), my father Victor a salesman, my mother Adela a clerk and 3 brothers Victor, Gerardo y Luis.

Now I have my family Virginia my wife and two beutiful daughters Monserrat and Estefania. We love to expend time togheter in weekends and holidays, We can just  go to the movies or try for adventure (see the rafting picture in Jalcomulco Veracruz or Skiing in Taos New Mexico) .

What is the best lesson your parents taught you?

Ever you want to do, do it with PASSION!, never GIVE UP to achieve your goals! and never be AFRAID TO FAIL! is worst if you dont try it, but learn for your faults, the next time yo will do it better!
