Dear moshe.naveh, thanks for starting out this initiative. It looks like a little an old social media very famous for long in Brazil called Orkut and which I don't even know I still have my profile in it. Since facebook I have never accessed that one.   This is really cool initiative! And if you want to join the challenge and you haven't been tagged by anyone yet, list your details here for someone to invite you: Blog It Forward- Request to Join Table

Intro

My name is Christian Cramer da Rosa and I was born in Porto Alegre in 13-SEP-1976, I just start studying computer science in 1998, 4 years after getting graduating in "high school"  which in Brazil we call it Second Degree studies. In that gap I worked as Pizza maker in Pizza Hut in summer session, then "office boy" the one who goes to the banks to perform banking activities like daily billing paying, etc for a certain company. I do not think that job still exists because banking operations are mostly operated over internet and it is nowadays way better comparing to going physically like it was before.

Then I created my own company about website creation business and resume studies getting my post-degree graduation in management area.

I joined SAP in 2009 and I really enjoy being at SAP. It allows me to have time flexibility for triathlon trainings, my hobbie . The only nuisance is that it is about 35 Km from my hometown which is Porto Alegre but I already got used to commuting.

Fun Fact of my Country

Fun fact is that Brazil is known for football, amazon forest, Iguazu Falls, Maracanã stadium, etc and I have never been to those places. Even though I enjoy football I am not nuts like many people either, I like to pratice and watch triathlon and olimpic games (Brazil will host next one by the way) . I would like to tell about my home town, Porto Alegre is a city full of trees, even though it is urban there are some streets that seems to have more trees than anything else. One example is Gonçalo de Carvalho street which is covered with Tipuanas trees. They were planted in the thirties of past century by german/brazillians workers of an big Brewery around that area.

Questions asked by Pedro

Which 5 things do you absolutely want to achieve in life?

  • Be able to buy a house with big garage to repair my bicycles.
  • Surf in Hawaii, but small waves like the ones in Sunset Beach.
  • Retire before my sixties.
  • Swim a long distance classic like English Channel or Gibraltar Strait.
  • Have a lifestyle which I can be happy with job, family and my sport adventures.

  • If you were given by your work a full day every week to do whatever you feel like, what would it be?

I would definitely do the same as I do on Saturday which is shopping but with less people around.

  • If you were not in your current position, what/where would you be and why?

I have never dreamed of being System Analysis in my childhood but it is way better then many other jobs. I would like to get paid from entertainment activity like sports or music.

About the questions listed to all

  • If you were 20 again, what would you study?

Today, I really see me doing computer science, because now I know that market in the richest countries have chosen to send some jobs to Brazil. It allows me to learn English language and to travel, I feel almost like in home being English fluent when I am abroad. If I had studied law for example that would not be likely to happen.

  • Share a fun fact/story about yourself that people don't know

Once in a rainy day I was in other Porto Alegre 's neighbourhood and I needed to arrive somewhere so I called a taxi and I spoke to the driver that I had to go to a street (I spoke the street name), he looked back at me and said, this is that street already. So I just removed my seatbelt, thanked him and got off. It was a small street, so that was really funny.
