My first breath on this planet was on a land called as God’s Own Country :cool: .
Then, I was brought up and educated in a place called the Oxford of the East!! ➕
Apart from these fortunes, I also happen to be a SAP MM consultant. :wink:

SCN is a place where the most erudite people of SAP come together to share their knowledge with the common folk. All the documents available and the blogs with personal view of fellow SAPeans on the various experiences in systems, all help me immensely in my journey to become an apt SAP consultant.
A little bit about me;
I am an Indian, who was born in the Southern part of India; Trivandrum, Kerala, a state which happens to be called ‘God’s Own Country’.
But, I have been brought up in the Western side of the country; Pune, Maharashtra, a city which is called the ‘Oxford of the East’.
As an Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer from Pune University, who went to school at Loyola High School, Pune: I consider myself a Puneri Mallu! :razz:
Speaking about languages, in my country being multi lingual is a skill most possess.
I am eloquent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Marathi.
Also, ‘Ich weiß wenig von Deutsch von Schulbildung. ‘
Apart from India being the largest democracy and the residence of people belonging to various cultural and religious backgrounds, the ability of people speaking completely different languages is what fascinates me more.
Speaking is the basic form of communication. The fact that people of diverse cultural ways live here harmoniously; overcoming the language barriers is an integral part of the charm of my country, INDIA.

Moving on to answer the questions I have been asked by sneha.j in her BIF Blog It Forward- Sneha Jadhav;
- Tell us something about your hobbies?
Playing football (soccer) has always been a passion. This is a sport I have been into since my schooling days and presently is fulfilled by being a part of my current organizations football team. We recently won the corporate tournament “URAZZA CUP”.
Then, there is trekking. Torna, Rajgad, Raigad, Koraigad, Prabhalgad and many more. This again is a frequent activity. Trekking is a passion I share with my school friends. We make it a point to get away once in 4 months to find a place that very few dare to tread. We then as a tradition make it a point to get lost and explore the unexplored territories. Here are a few clicks of the same experiences;
Other than this I enjoy reading novels. Dan Brown books are the once I am addicted to always. I am a foodie too. Also, I find cooking relaxing but I don’t call my cooking skills ‘Master Chef’ like because eventually I end up eating my dishes before anyone gets to have a bite.
- How I come to know about SCN and What do I most enjoy on SCN?
SCN was spotted in the first google search I made on a query I had in SAP. But initially I used to only use SCN as a reference site for my doubts and learning. Only after spending more time on the site did I understand the interactive way in which this community works.
What do I enjoy most?! Collecting points of course!
Also the fact that there is rarely anything SAP has to offer that hasn’t already been explored by the experts on SCN. This gives me the basic knowledge, which enables me to confidently jump into the deep well of SAP for exploration.
- What was the most fun project you ever participated in and why?
I was once involved with a NGO called Damini Foundation. This was an organization that fought crimes against Women and worked towards women empowerment. We once travelled to Sadhana Village, where specially-abled children were taught to be self-independent for their life ahead. The reason for our visit was however to take up the case of a 22yr girl who had been repeatedly raped by her husband and then cast away by her own parents. She had taken shelter there in fear of her husband’s fury of leaving him. We were able to successfully appoint a lawyer to this lady and give her a job. This enabled her to continue her life and educate her 3 children.
As part of this foundation we have also conducted various workshops in Warje slums in Pune, where professionals educated the female residents on ‘good touch, bad touch’.
Though this doesn’t rightly qualify as a fun project, this is one activity I hold very close to my heart and hope to do similar deeds in the future.
