By now, I hope you've spent some of your valuable time checking out the new community platform -- and that you're simply taking a break from all that testing because you enjoy reading my blog posts so much.

If not…

We're currently conducting a survey so members can tell us what they think of the new community experience. That means we really want to know your opinions. (And we're getting some strong ones, which we hear loud and clear. More on that later.)

It stands to reason, however, that you can't take a survey about the new community experience if you haven't experienced the new community experience.

Uh. Yeah.

So if you haven't participated in open beta -- or you need a reminder about how you can participate -- here are some basic details to help you.

On top of that, as you familiarize yourself with the new community and its functionality, please take the aforementioned survey. It ends on September 14, so now is the time to play with the platform's new features and rate the experience.

And speaking of new features…

Earlier, I mentioned strong opinions. We know we need to do a better job of reporting the improvements that we're making to address member concerns. Please know that we're working on posts, videos, and more content meant to give you updates about some of the most pressing issues. We're also planning to provide more tips and direction about how to navigate through and use the new community platform.

As always, we'll make all of this information available via the Communications Overview for #1DXCOMMDEST page -- your one-stop location for posts about beta and the new community experience.

This isn't to suggest that one page and more posts will solve everything. But we are listening. So please keep the conversation going -- or, if you're just getting started, join the discussion. We want to hear from you.
