SAP DBM upgrade path is available from DBM 600 to DBM 800 & DBM 700 to DBM 800..

There is no upgrade path from DBM 500 version to DBM 800... DBM 500 needs to be upgraded to DBM 600 then only further upgrades can be achieved

Ensure minimum system landscape requirement for an upgrade, SAP ECC & SAP ECC DIMP & SAP DBM Add-on & TREX.

Upgrade steps for DBM 600 to 800:


1. OCF- Object control framework events to be added.- Use version Analyser


2. Business partner: Set up master data synchronization configuration.


3. Vehicle sales options : run report UPD_VEH_OPTIONS


4. No action required for Others changes order status, pricing, Job catalog, job id..


Upgrade steps for DBM 700 to 800:

1. OCF- Object control framework events to be added.- Use version Analyser

2. Order status - No action required.

3. Pricing changes appear - no action required.

4. Job catalog, job id..No action required.


5. Appointment scheduling- No action required.
