SDK runtime necessary on web server

Is it necessary to install the SDK runtime on the web server I'm deploying to, or can I just include dll references in my web project that I'm publishing to the web server from my dev machine?  My website connects to a Crystal Reports Server 2011 SP4 then exports and displays reports as pdf.

.net 4.0 web site.

server is Win 2008 server 64 bit.

sdk is SP04.
