BRFplus for ABAP – The Framework for Business Rules (Session ID: COMP208)
Learn how to use the BRFplus framework in your applications. This session will introduce you to the technical building blocks as well as the usage scenarios of BRFplus. Find out how you extend BRFplus as well as how to connect external Rules Engines to ABAP applications using BRFplus. We will finish the presentation with an overview of future developments in BRFplus.
Build the Business Rules Once and Let the End User (Business) Manage Them (Session ID: BPM201)
This presentation will provide an insight into utilizing SAP BRFplus for business rules implementation. I will demonstrate how a business rule engine makes possible decoupling of complex business rules from the application logic. This is especially helpful wherein business rules are complex and undergo swift changes in a dynamic marketplace. Business rules can be defined independently in the rules engine by end users. The application needs to only provide a mechanism of retrieval and enforcement of these rules. Learn how these goals can be achieved using BRFplus. I will also discuss how to build regional variations of rules for a global organization.
