Dear Partners and Customers,

I would like to make you aware of another important SAP ByD ISV development coming from Reply focused on Mobile Scanner Support. This add-on enhances the SAP ByD capabilities in the area of Warehousing with a double benefit for the customers. On one hand it makes mobile scanning capabilities now more flexible as the supported mobile plattforms allow now the usage of multiple scanner hardware products, on the other hand after SAP sundowned the further development of their own Mobile Scanner support, the solution from Reply will close this gap.

Here is a very short overview about the features of the solution plus feature timeline:

  • Multi tenancy (available)(available)

  • Multiwarehousing (v1609)

  • Offline work (available)

  • Task Prioritization (v1611)

  • Task Confirmation and Edit (available)

  • Scenario Extensions (v1611)

  • Enlarged Device Support (v1702)

  • Internationalization (available)

  • Support for Windows Phone 8.1+ (tbc) & Android 4.1.1 & iOS (tbc) (available)

  • Path Optimization (v1611)

Reply confirmed that they not only want to offer the full capabilities of the actual SAP supported warehouse processes relevant for mobile scanning in Q1 2017, but even go behind. On top of this the solution can be tested by interested customers for a period of 6 month before it needs to be finally bought. This seems to be a very fair offering for a future investment.

For further details here is a very good video available which shows the supported end2end process and the handling of the solution:
