So we’re about three weeks out to ASUG Annual Conference and maybe you’re in one of three groups:

  • You’re going and you’re starting to fill out your agenda
  • You’re on the fence about going
  • You can’t make it

If you’re interested in BI & Analytics, the ASUG BI Community can help- even if you’re not going to be able to make it to Orlando!  First, let’s help out the people who are making the trek to Orlando or are looking for content for a last-minute pitch to attend.  The ASUG BI Community has two handy-dandy guides to the BI content offered at ASUG Annual Conference/Sapphire.  This content is hand-picked by your volunteers, this year with an eye to trying to schedule as many quality customer stories as possible.

First up- the 2015 ASUG Annual Conference BI Community Brochure.  This guide has a listing of all the BI community selections, along with session ID’s for ease of searching in the Agenda Builder.  The brochure also contains a list and pictures of all the ASUG BI Community volunteers.  If you’re looking for someone to speak to in Orlando, you now have a way to identify us and ask questions!

Second document- the 2015 ASUG Annual Conference BI Schedule.  This is the detailed list of sessions, including times and is even color-coded by categories (HANA, Big Data, BW, BI, etc…) for ease of use.  The sessions are even hyperlinked to their corresponding entry in the Agenda Builder.  This is a great resource for the BI enthusiast!!

Lastly, for those who can’t make it to Orlando- the BI Community keeps an active list of all of the upcoming webcasts that are being offered right online.  Another great resource for those looking to expand their BI knowledge.  And all of these resources are NOT behind an ASUG logon, so anyone can grab them and take a look.  Registering for webcasts still require an ASUG membership, though

A big thanks to Tammy Powlas for putting these great resources together.  As always, I’ll be looking forward to chatting with everyone in Orlando or online!
