I just new server to run SAP business one on. With the speed of SSDs it minimizes the need for raid. We only use raid for redundancy and not for speed boost like traditional SAS drives. I love the simplicity in architecture. Even though it is not a PCI express SSD the random read and random writes is quite fast. The time it takes from running an aging report went from 2 minutes to 5 seconds. With the speed of the SSD in case the index is not rebuilt on the SQL server it does not degrade performance as much. I am running traditional SAP and a lot has changed in hardware in the past few years.
