Organizations around the world are realizing that the next frontier of innovation has moved from the quests of universals to embracing diversity and meeting individual needs. For example in healthcare research is focused not on understanding how a particular disease works but understanding how my cancer is different from yours and what is best treatment for me. In consumer products industry there is no longer the quest to finding the one perfect product that satisfies the needs of majority 50-60% of the time but finding the range of products that meet segments of the population 70-90% of the time.
Organizations have been amassing huge volumes of data but lacked the technology to enable the effective analysis of massive amounts data, quickly determine outcomes of possible actions and then take appropriate action while it still mattered – not just for a select few individuals but at scale: within and beyond the enterprise.

To be eligible to enter for the award was a deployed solution delivering tangible business and or social benefits today.
