Qualex Consulting Services Wins Big with SAP HANA Gaming Solution

As a strategic technology partner for SAP, Qualex has been creating win-win situations for its joint customers. It all started 4 years ago, when the company realized its clients could add much more value to their business by using SAP. One solution, called IQ Gaming, caught the eye of SAP executives via the SAP Start-up Focus Program. After showcasing its value on the SAP HANA platform, Qualex was invited to SAPPHIRE NOW to show off the demo.

“We proved with this solution that you don’t need a big upfront investment, you can just benefit from SAP HANA in the cloud and it will be a minimal cost on a monthly basis,” said Lelian Cestari, director of SAP Practices for Qualex.  “It will give you the ability to run reports on real time data. What might’ve taken a minute, now takes seconds.”

Seconds count in the gaming industry. Suppose a person is walking the casino floor, looking for that next lucky slot machine or roulette table. Now imagine the ability to send that person a targeted offer before they leave the casino floor.

“Two minutes versus two seconds is the difference between capturing them with a compelling offer before they’re gone,” said Cestari. “It’s not just about big data anymore, it’s about smart data and SAP HANA enables businesses to be smarter with their data.”

Cestari said the IQ Gaming Solution works well in the retail environment and the company is also working on a similar solution for the oil and gas industry.
