One of the most important topics of this era is IoT for sure. Many ideas and future plans are in everywhere and most of them are unstructured. Many vendors are offering different approaches and products. Customers are confused, CIOs are trying to understand the concept and trying to clear their organizations' mind.
What would be the strategy?
As usual SAP is standing on the stable side and offering solid solutions. First of all SAP is accepting that there are many many way to go, however, from today there is something that organizations can get benefit.
SAP has segmented today's offerings in 4 categories: SAP Predictive Maintenance and Service, SAP connected Manufacturing, SAP Connected Logistics and SAP Augmented Reality
Details will come later for sure, however, SAP is connecting today's trends into one solutions and SAP is the only vendor offering mature solutions end to end.
Cloud, BigData, IoT and In-memory computing is available now. This will help CIO's to shape the new strategy.
