#FKOM2015 in Barcelona, #S4HANA in all minds

This monday on 19.Jan.2015 will be a very important day people like me who started their @Sap career very early of SAP R/3. R/3 was game-changing product or solution which covers end-to-end ERP requirements of all kind of companies from SME to LE. Seamless integration between Logistics, Financials and Human Resources. Client server architecture was enabling us to use local desktops or mostly called personal computers' resources. This was amazing at those years. Addition to architecture, user interface was beautiful, which is called SAPgui, SAP graphical user interface. Colorful, supported by modern fonts, scalable and supports multitasking with many windows, many other revolutionary features can be listed easily.  Perfect business solutions evaluation reached Business Suite on HANA.

Today I have the same feeling which R/3 made 23 years ago. New approach or platform is again released by SAP. S4HANA is not a new version of Business Suite on HANA, S4HANA is the starting point of new revolutionary platform like R/3.

S4HANA will be a platform for today's and future trends with it's unique platform called HANA. In-memory and column base processing enabled S4HANA database simplification. 8 times less data will be stored in S4HANA if we compare it with existing Business Suite. Also simplification will continue after Simple Finance to Simple Logistics and so far. Less database tables will be replace the complex data model. Real time reporting will empower organizations and S4HANA will be the base for M2M. And Bigdata will be no more something special for Institutes and laboratories, S4HANA will let companies get benefit prediction. SAP is helping companies and people to touch easily to trends like Internet of Things, in-flight reporting and modeling and Bigdata. These concepts will be as simple as like shopping in the supermarket. End-users will newer be interested in while they are consuming real time data and predictive data from their mobile devices where the data is stored. Cloud or on-premise, will not be an issue.

Finall S4HANA is the name of the new era, erp standarts are being re-written again by SAP. In a very short period of time I beleive, very small companies even single person will subscribe and start to use S4HANA in 1-2 hours from their mobile devices.
