Shift the mindset of your network in 6 steps

Transferring your business over to the cloud not only requires a shift in the way your organization works, but it also requires a paradigm shift in the overall mindset of your organization as a whole. Creating a shift in the mindset of an entire organization isn’t easy. In fact, it essentially challenges the culture your organization is defined by.

Is this a bad thing? No!

This is fantastic, even for organizations that already have a fantastic office culture, and I’ll tell you why: The world is changing. You have to change with it, or get left behind. Simple.

While we are focusing on the mindset that drives your organization, don’t forget that it is the technology itself that drives this movement to begin with. As we all know, technology changes, and with it, smart companies that wish to thrive.

As a result of the changes in technology, the change in organizational mindsets should follow.

Step 1: Align your leading stakeholders of your organizational network

First you must agree on one common vision that includes an agreed upon understanding of the desired engagement. You then need an accepted approach to increase the engagement level.

Step 2: Measure the overall engagement level

Agree on the way success will be measured and define a short list of common KPIs. Perform a regular countercheck for required learning improvements.

Step 3: Reinforce the engagement activities

Nominate ambassadors in the organizational network who work on a common action plan and who coordinate the required activities.

Step 4: Communicate regularly

Drive frequent communication to build trust and increase the motivation of your network members.

Step 5: Support the engagement activities

Nominate members to the engagement activity program who provide support by guiding workshops, events, projects, etc.

Step 6: Continue the mobilization of resources while aligning activities

Align activities among those involved with the mindset transition. Share best practices and mobilize resources for continued growth.

I look forward to your feedback and to sharing knowledge with you!
