SAP Mentor ingo.hilgefort has written his sixth book, this time on SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for OLAP.  What is new about this book is its high interactivity, full of demos, links, and step by step on how to use the tool.

Description (from iTunes)

This book provides you a step by step introduction to SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP in combination with SAP NetWeaver BW. This interactive eBook focuses on providing you step by step material which you can use directly in your project.

The book contains interactive videos, expandable screen shots, step-by-step actionable instructions to get you going with your BI4 Analysis OLAP deployment.  As SAP Education currently does not offer a formal training course on this tool this book is an easy, inexpensive way to get you started learning and fine-tuning Analysis OLAP.  The cost is $24.99 USD and you can download a sample chapter for free.

Below is a list of chapters and topics:

Chapter 2: Introduction to SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP

Chapter 3: SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP and SAP NetWeaver BW

Chapter 4: Simple Steps with SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP

Chapter 5: Advanced Steps with SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP

Figure 2 is a screen shot of the many interactive videos included in this e-book.  Ingo (and his voice) walks you through step by step on how to use the Analysis OLAP solution.

I was able to complete all the exercises in the book myself, and I learned about SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for OLAP in this process.  This being Ingo's sixth book, it has his high usual quality standards.

This new eBook requires an iPad and you view it through iBooks.  It works on my old iPad1.  It is nice to be able to simply carry my iPad and not a heavy book.  What is even nicer is that the screen shots in the eBook are in color.  This, to me, makes it easier to read, follow and understand.

You can buy the book via iTunes or search iBooks.  If you are on BI4, considering BI4, using BEx Web today, I recommend this book.   Check out the sample chapter today.
