This time a short announcement. With release 1.5 which is GA since few weeks, a lot of good functions are already in - and even some are still missing - it would be a good time to take short inventory of "what we have".
I have asked tammy.powlas3 as moderator to place some polls on following topics. And - seems those are really the first polls in the Design Studio space 😉
In short, I will try to explain what is the information for SAP and others based on the polls...
Here we can see how "successful" is the half-yearly delivery, are many of you on the latest releases already?
This gives an overview of the "usage stage" and also of the internal strategy - nice to see the distribution, are the use cases more generic or more specific in your company?
Design Studio is deplyoable in different landscapes, also the functions are a bit different (mainly due to the underlying) platform functions. Which option do you have in your company?
There was already interesting discussion - SDK components - development direction & concepts - is there any change today, especially as the SCN community repository contains already more than 50 cool components and 8 members (9th is in progress)? What is your status on SDK Extensions?
The distribution of use cases. Design Studio is trying to address both borders - from dashbording to generic olap cases, how does this distribute in real live? This is more a "feeling" question, you do not need to count the percentages in detail 😉
A technical one, browser. What is the main browser for you? We all know, many companies have standards and IE in old version is often placed as a "standard browser". How does this distribute here?
Summary
take a minute, place your vote!
and ... if you have more ideas on polls, comment here, we can include more and make the community even more interactive then before!
P.S. Thanks Tammy for placing the polls!
