Like many individuals, I also have a strong desire to live my dream of becoming a well-regarded SAP professional and work hard towards becoming a SAPian. It has not been a very long time that I got attracted to the dynamic world of SAPians. At this point in time, I am just a beginner and I am yet to find my feet in this world, which is very new to me at present. Although, I don’t know much about SAP, but I do know this – SAP has changed the way businesses operate in this era and it has much more to offer in the months to come.

I got attracted to SAP, while I was doing some research on improving my earning potentials. That is when I realized that my skill-set is of not much use to the present day corporate world. This means to me that for a better living, I have to develop my skills further. I started talking to my friends and spent hours finding the right course that would help me earn good till I keep myself employed in any organization. And I am sure; I am not going to take retirement in next 15-20 years. Ok, I know what you are thinking; I am 34 years old now.

Well, keeping these things in mind, I started getting information from all corners about SAP, SAAS, PMP and what not. I found that our planet is flooded with educational institutes offering professional courses through distance learning and various other mediums. My education at this time is not more than graduation and I found that every stream is new to me. There are no single professional courses that I can take-up, where I can leverage my BPO experience. I decided to do something that is somewhat known to me, and I chose Finance. Now, what to do in Finance?

I came across many small institutions who train you on the major modules of SAP (MM, SD, FI, CO, BASIS, ABAP, etc.), and these are not SAP authorized centres. They dont charge you so big as it is in SAP Authorized Centers, a mere Rs. 10000 to 15000 is course fee for any module. As I do earn so much to get trained from authorized centres, I chose one of these small institution in Bangalore, and I chose FICO. My research got me into this biggest platform of SAP Community Network. Today, although I am novice, but the back of my head, I know I have a very big and strong network of SAPians who are constantly sharing their knowledge in spite of their long working hours. This is the biggest ever support that anybody can ever dream of in any profession.

So here I am, presenting to you my view on SAP. There is so much to learn and I have just started my journey. I would need a lot of support from the SAP community networks. In case you have any suggestions or advise for me, you are most welcome.

Thank you, for your time and have a great day ahead.
