The ASUG EAM Community has just announced a four part webcast series that will be delivered by four highly rated SAP EAM Customers speakers that have spoken at SAP Centric EAM EventsThis years SAP Centric EAM 2014 was held in February in Austin, Texas and next year’s event will be held in March 2015 in Huntington Beach, California.  I would suggest that you save the date and try to make it to this one of a kind conference. I have attended a few of these conferences and whole heartedly recommend them

I  would like to point out one of these webcast that are of interest to the chemical industry. This is the one given by Keith Berruman of Agrium

His topic is: Build a Solid Foundation to Get the Most Out of Your SAP PM System

” Many organizations implement SAP to meet a particular need.  Cost Control, Work Order Processing or Preventive Maintenance.  As companies start to focus on adding functionality and expanding their processes to include Asset Management and ISO certification they are finding the foundation they built is weak and needs to be rebuilt" In this presentation Keith will review the basic steps of work management and discuss some of the problems and solutions encountered by Agrium as they have expanded their system to include Mobile tools, Reliability Improvement and improved business processes.

I think this is a timely presentation since a number of companies that I have been talking to recently are experienced SAP EAM users, have implemented their systems a number of years ago, but are starting to realize that they need to change or adjust their implementation to accommodate their new thrusts to wards reliability and operational efficiency.

Of course you have to be a member of ASUG to register and attend the webcast. But this is not difficult. If you company is a member of ASUG (and most SAP North American customers are) then as an employee of one of those customers you can sign up and become a member

To register for this event please sign on to ASUG and go to the Event Registration Page Registration: http://www.asug.com/events/detail/Build-a-Solid-Foundation-To-Get-the-Most-Out-of-Your-SAP-PM
