Just recently I was asked what 2 books (business, not fiction) would I recommend to someone as my top picks. This was quite a challenge. I am a voracious reader and for those who have been following my postings over the years know that when I come across a book that I think is helpful I will post a review.
But the best two books, now that was difficult. But the following is what I chose. Something old, and something new

- Although this book was written in 1975 I feel that you can not have a better introduction to Material Requirements Planning. I have bought multiple copies of this book over the years as it seems to disappear on every MRP implementation that I have been involved in. You know, "do you have any information on the basics of MRP? Sure.". And the book never comes back.

- I found out about this book after watching Pamela talk on Tedtalks and what she talked about intrigued me enough to go and buy the book. An easy and informative read that has made it onto my annual reread list. Full of interesting and worrisome facts ie. Most of use encounter nearly 200 lies a day. This book introduces us to techniques to enable us to identify these lies.
