The 6.1 (cloud) version of SAP® Integrated Business Planning for sales and operations, SAP® Integrated Business Planning for inventory, SAP® Integrated Business Planning for demand, SAP® Integrated Business Planning for response and supply, and SAP® Supply Chain Control Tower includes all functionality from the IBP 5.0 release as well as:

  • The first release of SAP® Integrated Business Planning for response and supply which replaces SAP® Integrated Business Planning for supply,  and now supports operational supply planning, and new integration methods.    This new capability allows customers to plan based on demand priorities and adapt quickly when faced with demand upside opportunities or supply disruptions.  It also enables fast, accurate decisions supported by what-if analysis, and easy analysis of constraints in the supply chain.
  • Enhancements to all of the Integrated Business Planning modules, as well as to SAP® Supply Chain Control Tower. Enhancements to SAP® Integrated Business Planning for demand including trade promotion integration and analysis and demand sensing simulation from Excel.
  • A new Unified Planning area which supports all IBP modules  (except IBP for response and supply) and a new RDS solution, which will enable companies to rapidly implement their IBP solutions to gain faster time-to-value.
