The world continues to change and it’s not going to stay still for us at any time in the near future. SAP solutions are no different – they are continuously evolving to include new features to meet your business needs. One of the talking points for SAP Customers at the moment is SAP HANA Cloud Platform. With SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Partners and Customers can now connect anything to any app or business process in their own company or in their business network.

In a recent article on SAP News, Steve Lucas, President, SAP Platform Solutions said,

“We now have the most comprehensive portfolio of IoT solutions, from core business operations to the edge of the network. We offer customers a full stack platform as a service that enables them to sign up and build IoT apps in the cloud without having to deploy or install anything. Additionally, we provide free access to SAP anywhere.”

To make the most of SAP HANA Cloud Platform, it is important that SAP Partners and Customers are enabled to fully leverage the power of this solution and SAP offers free training via openSAP to all developers interested in learning to develop apps, native and html5, on SAP HANA Cloud Platform and how to extend their existing SAP products to SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

To date, over 100,000 users have signed up to learn to develop apps on SAP HANA Cloud Platform with openSAP. Not only can they learn theory but also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by accessing SAP HANA Cloud Platform to practice what they have learned. The next course starts May 27, Next Steps in SAP HANA Cloud Platform and runs over six weeks. Participants are required to spend 4-6 hours per week completing the content, completing assignments, and testing out the platform. All you need to sign up is a valid e-mail address.

And since the platform is constantly evolving and updates every two weeks with fixes and new functionality to users, there’s a new SAP HANA Cloud Platform podcast which covers aspects of the platform services as well as technical aspects of the platform services as well as topics like best-practices, pricing updates, and success stories. The podcast will be released on a bi-weekly basis and an episode guide is available listing all the podcast episodes, as well as the corresponding podcast notes that are provided as a separate blog post.

You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes.
