Session 1- SAP and VMWare Hana Virtualization Project, April 2013

Just one week after the opening of COIL Shanghai, the successful inauguration of the new SAP Co-Innovation Lab in Singapore took place. The opening was celebrated with more than 120 guests at the SAP Asia headquarters. They all joined the count down when executives from SAP and COIL sponsors Cisco, NetApp, Intel and VMware pressed the button to power up the new COIL Computing Center in the customer area of SAP Asia (click the Singapore flag to join the moment). On Tuesday, March 5th, SAP officially opened the latest Co-Innovation Lab in association with the SAP China Partner Adoption Center (PAC) in Shanghai. 80+ attendees, including 45+ representatives from 18 local partners, as well as COIL sponsors and 16 media representatives participated in the opening ceremony where Mr. Arics Poon, Head of SAP Ecosystem & Channels China, and Mr. Axel Henning Saleck, Global Vice President SAP Co-Innovation Labs, opened the new facility by symbolically waking two lions. Executive speakers from field and labs shared SAP's view on the path forward in China. Taiji Computer Corporation Ltd., the first 1st COIL/PAC project partner in China, shared their co-innovation experience on SUP. First co-innovation lab project with partner in China! China Taiji Computer Co Ltd joined COIL as project member in January 2013. They will co-innovate with SAP COIL to create a new series of enterprise mobile solutions targeting the China market. You can find out more about Taiji on their company website. 2 Year Celebration of COIL Brasil - SAP Co-Innovation Day 2012: Making Innovation Tangible.

In celebration of the 2nd year of the Co-Innovation Lab (COIL) in Brazil, we hosted the Co-Innovation Day 2012 at the SAP Labs Latin America on November 7th, following the motto of making innovation tangible. The event highlighted a selection of the 40+ successfully executed projects in COIL Brasil and welcomed over 80 external people (customers, partners and journalists). Nine partners presented their co-innovation results along the strategic market categories from SAP: Applications, Mobility, Analytics and SAP HANA. All partners are from the Brazilian ecosystem and all projects highlighted are 2012 COIL activities. Mr. Igor Bogachev, Managing Director SAP CIS, Mr. Dmitrij Armjakov, Managing Director of SAP Labs CIS, Mr. Axel Henning Saleck, VP and Head of Global COIL Network, and Mr. Lawrence Wilcox, Director of SAP Global Alliances at Network Appliances (NetApp), officially kicked-off the brand new Moscow Co-Innovation Lab. As it has expertly done in the past in all its other locations around the globe, COIL will help driving co-innovation with CIS partners and customers around SAP’s strategic pillars of Mobility, Database & Technology, Cloud, Analytics and Applications.
