Once a year, Salesforce.com holds its Dreamforce user conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Once a year, we hear an uptick in conversations about apps, and cloud, and customer-centricity. And once a year, we wonder why no one is talking about one of the most important criteria of any CRM system—namely, do sales reps want to use it? Or are they just being sales-forced into putting up with a user experience that’s outdated, inflexible, and hard to use?
We wanted answers. So this year we decided to show Dreamforce attendees how a beautiful CRM interface really looks and feels—and gauge their reaction. Would we be met with indifference and apathy?
