During TechEd Las Vegas last week, two SAP partners with expertise in SAP Sybase ASE and SAP HANA discussed the value of running SAP databases. Oxya has completed several Oracle to SAP Sybase ASE on SAP Business Suite migrations over the last 18 months and described the migration process as straightforward, even easy. Migrations were typically accomplished over a 2-3 month project and Oxya’s customers have benefited from much lower licensing, maintenance, and administrative costs, sometimes achieving ROI much earlier than expected.
Beyond Technologies, a partner and SAP Mentor, described how business transformations can be achieved with SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA. It expects that many innovations in the functionality of SAP Business Suite will result by leveraging SAP HANA technology.
