Insert time clustering (ITC) tables, a new table type introduced with DB2 LUW 10.1, allow an easy and lightweight reclamation of free space. With DB2 10.5, an enhanced REORG operation for ITC tables can merge sparsely filled blocks of ITC tables to gain even more free space. DB2 BLU Acceleration certified for SAP Netweaver BW
DB2 Version 10.5 introduces compressed column-organized tables whose data pages contain column data instead of row data. Column-organized tables can provide performance improvements for certain types of analytic queries. DB2 10.5 Fix Pack Information
Fix Pack 2 for IBM DB2 10.5 is not a regular DB2 for LUW server Fix Pack. It contains only client-side enhancements for connections to DB2 for z/OS servers. Therefore, SAP will not certify this Fix Pack for DB2 for LUW. The next regular DB2 10.5 Fix Pack certified by SAP will be Fix Pack 3.
