Recently SAP has released a first version of the SAP HANA broker for Cloud Foundry platform http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_Foundry
A very big thank you goes out to the colleagues from the SAP HANA Co-Innovation Lab Israel, Leonid Bobovich and Boris Mikhailovski, who were responsible for the development and delivery at a very short notice.
SAP HANA service broker for Cloud Foundry provides application developers with the option to consume SAP HANA as service in Cloud Foundry based environments. Application developers will be able to get instant access to SAP HANA as a service in Cloud Foundry based PaaS environments without any significant investments in deployment and administration of dedicated SAP HANA services.
To get things started, navigate over to the home of the service broker on GitHub at https://github.com/cloudfoundry-community/cf-hanadb-broker and read through the Readme.md of the repository as it contains simple instructions on how to use it. The repository also comes with some unit tests that you can run.
If you are interested in trying it out but do not have an access to SAP HANA database, you may consider getting one from the SAP Developer Center http://developers.sap.com/hana. Cloud Foundry environment can be obtained via https://github.com/cloudfoundry or at one of the Cloud Foundry service operators such as Swisscom ( http://devcloud.swisscom.com/ ) .
