Make SAP Agile Data Preparation work for you

Having read about SAP Agile Data Preparation, I wanted this tool immediately. In this blog I describe how you can make it work for you. Please refer to the respective SAP help site for more detailed information.

First you have to enable the Script Server, if you plan to use SAP Smart Data Quality:

Next you have to enable the XS Job Scheduler:

Then you have to download and import the SAP Enterprise Semantic Services Delivery Unit. Please make sure to check the PAM in order to find the matching version for the SAP Agile Data Preparation Delivery Unit you are going to import:

Subsequently you download and import the SAP Agile Data Preparation Delivery Unit:

Please verify, that both Delivery Units have deployed successfully:

To activate, Run ESS setup:

To enable ADP, you grant yourself the ADP Administrator role:

With this you activate ADP and create an ADP Administrator user:

As a result, logging into ADP you are greeted with a welcome page:

And finally you can get productive:
