After several months we finally have the SPS11 SAP HANA Developer Edition live with the brand new SAP HANA XSA configured and running, unfortunately being early meant we had a few problems along the way so hopefully you'll all be happy with the results - we are that is for sure!
The new version has all the goodies we normally include for the world of XSC which is still alive and well in this version (it will be shut down at some point in the future though).
We've also updated some of the sample applications as well so there is certainly new stuff in there for those who are wanting to check out XSC.
For those chomping at the bit and wanting to get their hands on XSA, well we have that for you as well!
It's preconfigured and ready to use out of the box! We've even uploaded an application ready for you to use and explore. As well as lots of other items in there to use.
With the changes and addition of XSA you will also need to know that there are a lot more ports open on the server now than before, this is related to how XSA works. So keep that in mind when you launch the instance. You will also need to work with a "hostname" and not the IP address anymore, we've added instructions for that into the system.
