Welcome to the Portal news blog for the month of May 2012. In this edition you can learn about:
Some SCN subspaces for SAP NetWeaver Portal were newly created or renamed. The new subspaces represent the “big” areas of our product portfolio like Collaboration and Social, Knowledge and Content Management, Portal Administration and Development etc. You can use the new subspaces to create blogs or to discuss your issues in the forums.
For more information on these changes, see this blog New Subspaces created on SCN for SAP NetWeaver Portal written by me.
I also recommend reading the blog Stick this in your pipe and read it! by skemp on how to create a Yahoo Pipe that pulls together all the RSS feeds from the main SAP NetWeaver Portal space and all subspaces. Thanks to Simon for this contribution!
Note that the SAP On-Demand Portal project name for a cloud-based portal solution was renamed into SAP NetWeaver Cloud Portal.

The mobile enablement of SAP NetWeaver Portal is an extension of the existing portal offering based on SAP NetWeaver 7.3.
We have created more information on SCN on the new Portal mobile enablement features. In this SCN document you find an overview presentation, screenshots, blogs, links to documentation and SAP Notes.
And for those who could not make it for SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG this year: aviad.rivlin shares with you some of the demos and highlights we showed two weeks ago at the SAPPHIRE NOW conference in his blog SAP NetWeaver Portal On Device – SAPPHIRE-NOW Recap.
