For dividend on stocks or revenues of funds (condition based flows), instead of distribute their revenue in cash, both of them issue new shares occasionally.  This is possible with the function “capitalized dividend” in the system.

The system processes this activity within the manual debit position (T-code FWZE) when posting dividend. There is button “Capitalize”, with this button, you can specify which amount is distributed in the form of shares and how many there are of these shares.

The business transaction consequently receives two additional flows. One represents the inflow of the shares (flow SAM80115); the other, the revenue (flow SAM8014).

To ensure that the system provides the additional button, in customizing, you must specify update types for the two additional flows: SPRO > Financial Supply Chain Management > Treasury and Risk Management > Transaction Manager > Securities > Position Management > Securities Account Management > Update Types > Assign Update Types to the Functions of Security Account Management:

Update Types for Capitalization of Div./Prof.Dist.

The update type which represents the position has to be assigned with position change category “1011 Post Purchase Value” in customizing : Treasury and Risk Management > Transaction Manager > General Settings > Accounting > Settings for Position Management > Set the Effects of the Update Types on the Position Components.

In account determination, it should be defined as below:
Position update type SAM8015 -> position / technical clearing;
Revenue update type SAM8014 -> technical clearing / revenue.

The two update types need to be set as relevant for posting in customizing. In tcode TPM20, posting journal  would be like below:
