To be able to use transaction TPM82 it is necessary to activate the new business function FIN_TRM_LR_FI_AN. Please note that the activation of the business function requires a migration with transaction TPM_MIGRATION (conversion type 6).
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Financial Services, Enhancement Package 3 (EA-FS 603), Business Function TRM: Hedge Management, New Instruments, New Key Figures, the Portfolio Transfer function is available in the Securities area of the Transaction Manager.
- If you distinguish your positions in a valuation area with portfolios, you can use this function to transfer positions or partial positions to other portfolios.
- The system uses a derived business transaction to transfer the components of the book value to the target position in the same way as the valuation class transfer and securities account transfer.
Customizing
To use this function, you must first execute the IMG activity Define Update Types and Assign Usages in Customizing for the Transaction Manager by choosing General Settings -> Accounting -> Portfolio Transfer.
