In the SAP talent management world we're collectively going through a transition from on-premise SAP to SuccessFactors and the cloud. In my opinion most SAP customers will switch to a cloud-based solution for talent management in the next five years. You don't need to be clairvoyant to see that. The switch will require some adjustment in thinking.
My HR2014 presentation is "SAP E-Recruiting or SuccessFactors? A Leading Expert Shares His Thoughts". Note that I didn't choose the word "expert". 🙂
The goal of the session is to help clients determine which solution is right for them, and if you're coming off of SAP E-Recruiting, what should you expect in terms of project, migration, support, etc. If you're not considering SAP E-Recruiting, it will still be useful to understand project and support approach differences with SuccessFactors. SuccessFactors is continually building out the Recruiting Management solution so that what was a big issue last quarter may no longer be an issue this quarter. This is the first time my presentation procrastination has helped me as I based it on the February b1402 release.
