Implementation consultants are the most important layer between a product and its usage by customer and a product manager can’t get better reality check when he/she is training consultants on its own products. We as EC - ERP Integration product management got this opportunity multiple times last year while conducting EKT (Enablement Knowledge transfer) workshop on the topic of EC ERP Integration.

We did our first workshop in Walldorf followed by New York with the last one in Bangalore. In each workshop we got this great opportunity to interact directly with the world’s top HR consultants regarding our integration strategy and implementation. In workshop we covered the overall strategy on how customer can transit from on premise SAP ERP HCM to core-hybrid or to full cloud. Apart from that all the participants had the opportunity to setup the overall integration using HCI (Hana Cloud Integration) as middleware and directly do a hands on Integration center. In Bangalore we included 3rd Party integration also in our agenda. One of the most important feedback was that still consultants are having problems in getting enabled on the cutting edge innovation which we are bringing to market every 3 months.

In 2015 we did a lot on this direction, some of the key changes were simplifying the overall help pages (see API and Integrations). Also you have the opportunity to provide direct feedback to our help documents on the mail SAPSuccessFactorsDocumentation@sap.com.

Also the release of EKT Learning maps will help implementation consultants a lot in understanding and implementing the prepackaged integration faster. These Learning maps can be found under the SAP Learning hub, following learning maps are currently available:
