We’re starting off 2016 with a great release! Before I knew it, it was time to write my blog on the latest enhancements in our first release of the year. And again, we’re bringing a lot of great enhancements your way.

In our last release, we’ve added a new intelligent services feature. With this feature you will get an alert when a change is initiated in the core HR system. Intelligent services automatically predicts all associated tasks and processes, and cascades them through multiple systems to completion. With this release we’ve also added some more services. Read Andy Yen’s blog “Simplify Global Mobility with Intelligent Services”, "SAP SuccessFactors 1602 Release Highlights - Intelligent Services" as well as check out this video on intelligent services to learn more.

Across the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite, we are bringing our new home page design to you. This new design has a cleaner look and an improved “to-do” list experience. And, in addition, we are delivering our new team summary feature. Managers now can easily access all team data they need.

As part of Employee Central, we’ve delivered the new apprentice management. With easy access through the home page tile, supervising and on-site managers are now able to maintain students’ school periods, plan internal training events, and assign apprentices to their on-the-job training. The calendar view enables managing supervisors to easily select groups and create events. Learn more on apprentice management in Patricia Fletcher's blog "Manage Tomorrow’s Workforce Today with Apprentice Management from the SAP SuccessFactors 1602 Releas...".

As with every release, we added country-specific versions for Bangladesh and Nicaragua. With this we have now increased the total number of localized country versions to 75. And, we increased the total number of country versions for Employee Central Payroll to 33.

Now, Employee Central Payroll users can see pay statements (overview and history of payouts as well as a detailed breakdown of payouts) on their mobile devices (iOS).

In Time Management we improved the ability to manage time and attendance processes, like stopping accruals when employees are on leave and importing working time from external systems.

And, in Talent Management we expanded the scope of our Performance & Goals solution. We are proud to introduce continuous performance management. These new capabilities help our customers improve the development of their workforce by facilitating more meaningful and frequent performance conversations between managers and employees. To learn more about continuous performance management read Enric Gili-Fort's blog "SAP SuccessFactors Q1 2016 Release: SAP SuccessFactors Perfomance & Goals", and watch our video on continuous performance management.

All capabilities of continuous performance management are available in SAP SuccessFactors Mobile (iOS and Android).

By using the new capabilities of our Learning solution, employees will be more motivated to learn than ever with the new gamification capability. Learners can be rewarded with points, recognition, certifications, and badges for their learning activities.

Within our Onboarding solution we make it easier for hiring managers to focus on a new hire’s performance by defining short-term goals (30-, 60-, and 90-day). Those goals can be leveraged with the new-hire goal plan from SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals.

With this release, we are delivering new Compensation modelling capabilities that improve planning accuracy and efficiency by intelligently aligning budgets with compensation guidelines. Expanding our existing variable pay forecasting and model¬ling capabilities, compensation professionals can now model base salary and long-term incentive programs prior to finalizing planning cycle configuration.
