One of the pain points in SAP E-Recruiting is the cumbersome candidate UI and the number of clicks the candidate has to make, before the candidate can click on the "Submit" button.

Jobs2Web provides a clean and neat UI for the candidates, and can also be integrated with SAP E-Recruiting. Jobs2Web is an offering from Successfactors (Jobs2Web is different from Successfactors recruiting solution) and resides in the cloud. Having Jobs2Web as the candidte UI and SAP E-Rec as the recruiting engine, results in a hybrid architecture -- Jobs2Web will be in the cloud and E-Rec will be on-premise. (I do know a few customers who have E-Rec as a hosted solution).

Another advantage of using Jobs2Web, is the web 2.0 funcitonalities it provides -- fully integrated with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Though E-Rec does provide a BAdi to integrate with LinkedIn , it is a cumbersome process, and E-Rec does not provide any integration to Facebook or Twitter.

Jobs2Web also appears to be strong in social recruiting, with features like private talent communities, customized landing pages, social matcher. The reporting capabilities of Jobs2Web are very good, including reporting for OFCCP purposes (for US only). If a E-Rec customer do not have BI in their landscape, they will tell you the pains about E-Rec reporting capabilities.

The mobile capability of Jobs2Web is pleasant. I was able to navigate a Jobs2Web site on my mobile device, without any difficulty. I do not have to dowload any application to browse the website.

For the implementation, Jobs2Web team sends you a questionnaire, which you are required to fill-out. Then the Jobs2Web consulting team, customizes the application to meet your requirements, including integrating with E-Rec.

What will be interesting for the future will be, will the customer implementation team be able to do the customization and integration of Jobs2Web with E-Rec.

Existing E-Rec customers can take this hybrid route, and replace the existing E-Rec candidate UI with Jobs2Web functionalities. Microsoft is one customer, I can think of, who went live with this hybrid architecture.
