Payroll control center is a set of tools to organize a series report together and end user can run them one by one ( worklist component is another concept).

Let's consider following scenario:

I want to run payroll relative job :

          1. check payroll master data

          2. run payroll

          3 .check payroll result data

          4. posting

          5...........

In older style , payroll manager should

     1.install sap gui .

2.know all t-code (or had set into the menu)

     3. remember the variant  run the report one by one

With PCC payroll manger just need a IE(chrome) and click one by one That's OK.

Then PCC how to achieve this ? By configure every step in advance by consultant?

1 Every step has input paramter :

               a. you can defined  what report(s) you want to execute

               b. what variant you want the report(s) run .

               c. Other selection screen's data

2 Every step has output parameters:

               a. Every reports run status (PCC always submit report(s) by job)

               b. Every reports' job status .

               c. Run result (spools ).

So PCC step's configuration is very similar to configure how to run a report .

Tell the truth , PCC actually is a great tools tell you how to execute a report on WEB ,

Beside that , PCC also have an ability to transfer data between reports

It base on a excellent framework : data source framework . (Both payroll control center and worklist)
