You always use denpendency editor to edit the dependencies.

Do you know you also have the options to have your own user settings when you use the editor, how to realize it?

Go to SE38, open any program to display the source code, in the display screen, go to the dropdown list:

Utilities->Settings

There will be a popup:

Here, you can make your own user settings like if the line length should be restricted to 72 and so on.

This is not only working for the dependency editor, but also work for any other functions that are using ABAP editor.
