Hello SCN members,

We all have faced the prospect of uploading Sales Documents  into SAP. The  most common approach to do so is via a BDC program. The LSMW recording  cannot be preferred if the order has multiple line items. More so, if the number of line items are not fixed.

In such cases, we can use the Direct Input Program  option in LSMW.  SAP has made available standard Direct Input programs for uploading a variety of Documents, viz Sales Documents,  Material Movement Documents,  Financial Accounting Docs.

In the first step of  LSMW, ie In Object Attributes, select Standard batch / Direct Input Option.

Then  you can select 0090 as  object and 0000 as method,

Automatically  RVINVB10 program gets selected.

Using this Program, you can finish  the remaining regular steps of the LSMW.

In Specify Files step, you will be asked to provide a logical path and a Logical File name.

These can be created in Tcode : FILE.

Double click on the Converted data file and assign the logical Path and Logical File name.

Note: The logical File should have the phuysical file  of the same name as the converted data file (*.lsmw.conv)

Have Created a detailed Document with all steps,  Kindly find the link to the same ,

Do share your comments and questions if you have faced any problems with this Direct Input program.
