If you didn't know, I've been accepted to speak at Mastering SAP BusinessObjects in Melbourne next month. This will be my second go 'round at this particular conference so I thought it would help if I shared the agenda I've built for myself relying on that experience. Feel free to lift portions of this agenda if it meets your needs, or simply follow around this guy (hopefully you won't be seeing double at the event).

Sunday, August 5th

After leaving my home something like 2 weeks earlier I'll arrive in Melbourne and immediately commit to being jet-lagged throughout the course of the Aussie Rules Football game we'll be taking in. Because this looks civilized.

After a few hours of pounding pints and pies, I'll ditch the missus and head in for some pre-conference sessions, then more pints. I have to admit I haven't decided yet exactly when I'll lie down in order to start not sleeping because my internal clock is still off and I'm no longer a young man.

Monday, August 6th

After bolting upright in bed at 4 in the morning and unable to go back to sleep, I'll slowly wander down for something called "Arrival Tea and Coffee" starting at 7 (don't worry, we have SEVERAL more tea breaks through out the day. I hope they have scones). From there... and be ready for the first keynote from Kurt Bilafer the head of Analytics for SAP in Asia, the Pacific, and Japan.

For the second keynote I'm going to watch  present on 5 Proven Steps to Successfully Deploy your Dashboards, mostly because I've never been in a room with that many accents before.

After yet more tea I'll sit in on Eric Vallo

After all that I'm spending a little extra time down there, bumming around in Melbourne, Sydney, and a few points north before heading home. Please do look me up if you'll be down there.
