CodeJam at SAP Labs – Great Experience, Great People

This was my first time at SAP CodeJam, and it was more than my expectations. I travelled from Chennai to Bangalore to attend this event. I am so happy that I have been part of this event.

It was a great and golden opportunity that I got a formal invite from SAP for CodeJam event on Hana Cloud platform on 16th June, also it was one of the best time learning experience I had in my career.

The event happened at SAP Labs Bangalore, SAP Technology RIG team organized it. Hence, I was lucky to meet the technology experts like midhun.vp vasu.kesiraju, and Babu.

There were about 25 participants from different partners and customers of SAP. It was awesome to meet new people and understand what they are doing.

I am so passionate about SAP’s technologies and events - I have attended couple of other events like SAP Inside Track conference 2014, 2015 held in Bangalore. And this is the first event I am attending and event at SAP Labs main campus, believe me, the campus is just amazing.

CodeJam is entirely different from SIT it’s purely a hands-on coding experience, I have coded for 7 hours.  There was a prerequisite I had to do before attending the event. As a PI expert, I was new to the development of SAPUI5 apps. But after the event, now I know at least how it works.

I have learned,

1. 1.             What is HCP
2. 2.             How to create JAVA apps and deploy it to HCP.
3. 3.             How to create Web applications using Web IDE and deploy it to HCP.

Once again thanks to the trainers – midhun.vp vasu.kesiraju, and Babu.

My next expectation from the CodeJam organizers is to do another event on HANA Cloud Integration (HCI).
