On October 7th, we had a very special SAP Inside Track in the SAP labs in Ra'anana, Israel. Mickey Steiner,  the SAP Labs Israel's managing director kicked-off the day by introducing SAP and the local labs to over 100 attendees from 40 different companies. After Mickey's session we had the keynote for the technical side of the day by SVP HANA platform, Jake Klein, who gave a very interesting introduction on SAP HANA as a lot of the following sessions were related to this topic. Then we had a stimulating presentation of SCN by Gali Kling Schneider .

Before we divided into Techie and Business/Managerial tracks I explained how our Inside Track event will be conducted. You might have noticed the "Wow!" in the title of this blog. The reason is that we had 23 sessions and each presenter had only 15 minutes to pass his message. In the pre-event phase some of the presenters were concerned that the time would not suffice, but it did! We got a lot of positive feedback about this new concept. Another challenge we gave, but this time to our participants, is that they are not allowed to ask questions during the sessions but rather refered to place comments in the blog the presenters posted before the event (links are attached below)

There were many topics that were covered during the day but our focus on SAP HANA. As you can imagine, having 23 sessions (that were chosen by poll) from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM could be a bit intense but I didn't notice any fatigue coming from our participants.

It was fantastic to finally see the faces behind the growing SCN Israeli community. We felt that there is a thirst for these kind of events because we had to close the event registration one week before the event as we didn't have seats left.

Oh, I almost forgot, we are also preparing surprise coming from this day. Be sure to follow me on SCN:).

Hope to have many more events like these and meet more great new community friends in the near future.
