Time flies, is it the last day already??? Don’t know about you, but I will miss (writing) these reports from the event… with that, a fair warning that this blog, with the excuse of being the last, is the longest in the series.

I will start with Duet Enterprise late night update from Wednesday – customer dinner organized by Microsoft was a success. It was, as I heard, a pure culinary delight… can't resist: 100 customers.  6 courses paired with wines from around the world by a master sommelier from Seattle and hosted in an art gallery.  The customer feedback was OVERWHELMINGLY positive (i am not surprised, are you?).  They completely loved the event and appreciated the invitations.  We hear it was also a very productive event business wise... Not to bore you with the descriptions of gourmet courses, I will just share a picture of John Youri, head of global sales for Duet Enterprise, giving speech at the dinner…

And an award ceremony mentioned yesterday – here is a picture that says it all, congratulations to Cordis again, well deserved partner award!

Now to Thursday - there was a pretty heavy traffic at the booth and a number of customer discussions took place there.  The microforum session started with only 7 customers, but finished with over 30, with the attendants actively participating while standing.  Holger presented jointly with Juergen Grebe from Microsoft (the latter on the picture below).

Now to Gateway updates!

The day started with session EXP130 “Partner solutions and implementations with SAP NetWeaver Gateway” by Carsten Boennen and Andre Fischer. In this session our partner Comprise IT presented its solution ´”Whistle Blower – Incident / Accident Reporting on the spot” while our partner Bridging IT presented the solution “PM Radar for Mobile Workforce”

Our customer EnBW  (http://www.enbw.com/), one of the largest energy companies in Germany and whole Europe, presented their solution “Signing customer contracts using SAP NetWeaver Gateway”. The following picture shows what has changed when an account executive from EnBW is visiting a customer. While in the past it was necessary to carry a heavy bag with leaflets, forms and other printed media this has now changed, and the account executive now only needs his iPad. The new application developed by EnBW allows the account executive and the end customer to sign a contract online. The contract data is sent immediately to the SAP CRM backend at EnBW and a written contract is sent to the customer which is required by German law.

In their session MOB209 - SAP to Go - iSIIM Invoice Approval App our customer BSH (http://www.bshg.com/ ) which is the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Europe, demonstrated their developments around SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

After this session three partners and one customer decided on the spot to join our current and upcoming customer engagement initiatives.
