Information Governance with SAP Information Steward

In a previous post, I talked to Byron Banks about high level trends in enterprise information management. At SAPPHIRE NOW in Madrid, I had the opportunity to drill into one of those key areas -- information governance -- with Bill Rojas, Sr. Product Marketing Manager for one of my favorite EIM products, SAP Information Steward.

Poor data quality is one of the biggest reasons business intelligence projects fails, but fixing it is not a technical problem, it's a business problem. In particular, fixing data integration and quality issues requires collaboration between IT and the business. SAP Information Steward uses analytics to track and improve the quality of analytics systems, and facilitates better data ownership and governance.
