The word is spreading fast about the new forums being debuted at SAPPHIRE NOW, helped no doubt by my fellow social media ambassador tim.clark. He recently penned an informative blog, New Forums Format at SAPPHIRE NOW Aims to Simplify and Enhance Attendee Experience, which goes into more detail.

There will be 12 Forums held during the event, aligned to select Industries and Lines of Business. I’m no math whiz, but when I ran the numbers one thing was clear: four forums per day over the course of three days equals a daunting set of choices.

Luckily for attendees of SAPPHIRE NOW, the format provided by the forums nicely complements the activities taking place across the Industries and Lines of Business campus make it easy to pinpoint the sessions that are right for you.

Forum Spotlight: Professional Services

If you’re attending SAPPHIRE NOW with Professional Services on your agenda, you’re in luck: the Professional Services segments within the Professional Services & Construction forum to be held on Tuesday, May 14 will deliver the goods.

Included among the customer- and partner-led sessions in this forum are:

A major highlight of the forum will be the Professional Services Keynote given by Eric van Rossum, Head of SAP’s Professional Services Industry Business Unit. Eric will provide insights into the latest professional services innovations from SAP, including enterprise mobility, analytics, in memory, and cloud computing. Eric will also share his vision for the future of the industry, and will use the Professional Services forum at SAPPHIRE NOW to launch a highly anticipated commercial project management application.

Visit the Campus

In addition to the program lined up for the forum, members of SAP’s Professional Services team will be manning their areas within the Industries and Lines of Business campus, where visitors can attend panel discussions, theater presentations, demo theaters, and microforums. Visitors to this campus can expect to see a full program happening across Discussion Tables and Test Drive Tables, including solution demonstrations and discussions on innovations around SAP HANA and Mobility.
