SAPPHIRE NOW & ASUG 2015 is quickly approaching and I am busy preparing for my sessions.

This year I will be hosting one SAPPHIRE Demo Theater session  and two ASUG sessions.

In the Demo Theater session, we will have an exciting look at a brand new Configuration UI and UI Composer approach that was built on top of the SAP Configure, Price, and Quote solution for solution sales configuration for EMC Corp. Using a flexible UI will allow EMC to better tailor the user experience to the different products and product lines which is key for the quotation productivity and solution selling business model.

In the first ASUG session, we will be discussing best practices on Configuring Pricing and Quoting in the E-Commerce environment.   Offering custom-tailored products and solution bundles is critical for industrial manufacturers, especially in E-Commerce and for internal sales organizations.   This session will give attendees the opportunity to learn how SAP Configure, Price and Quote (SAP CPQ) based on hybris enables sales teams, customers, and channel partners to configure, price, quote, and order products and solutions more accurately and efficiently.

The second ASUG session that I am hosting, Lessons Learned from SSC Implementations, you’ll hear from four customers about their experiences in implementing and using SAP solution sales configuration.  Key players from EMC, IBM, Lexmark and Ericsson will be on hand to tell you the impact this software has had on their companies.  I’ll also be available to answer questions.

Both sessions will provide lots of information on configuring complex solutions, so be sure to attend at least. I’ve included the links for each session so it will make it easy to add to your agenda. And if you have questions about SAP Configure Price and Quote, I’ll be available at SAPPHIRE or simply send me an email.
