The SAP TechEd Las Vegas 2012 edition of 'On the way to...' is brought to you by the letter 'A' and the number 2.  'A' for Auntie Anne's pretzels and '2' for the number of pretzels I bought.  Food service on today's domestic US travel seems to lean towards BYOD- Bring Your Own Dinner.  You may be thinking: 'What? No coffee this time?'  (You're probably not, but bear with me OK?)  No coffee generally makes me cranky, but I'm going to try and catch up on some sleep.  You see, TechEd is more like a marathon than a sprint.  Days packed with sessions and meetings.  And long nights catching up with friends I only see a handful of times per year in person.  Today, I will forgo my coffee in preparation of the days and nights to come.

This year, I'm looking forward to another TechEd filled with geekiness and education. That's the thing that makes me really enjoy TechEd- it seems that there's a few thousand folks like me in the same place.  Not specifically SAP-centric folks, but folks who tend to enjoy what embracing technology really means.  While the conversation may turn to SAP-related tech, there's always good techno-babble being spoken around; regardless of SAP or not!

Enough about that though, if you're reading this and finalizing your TechEd (in person or virtual) agenda- you're probably wondering what's on my calendar.  Without further ado, here aresome of the sessions on my agenda:

Sunday/Monday

InnoJam. Coding marathon?  Innovation learning experience?  Design thinking seminar?  Yes to all three.  This year, I have signed on to assist the teams with any healthcare and BI knowledge I can offer.  I am really looking forward to meeting the competitors and seeing what they can dream up (and then build) in 36 hours!
