I have to tell you, it’s been quite exciting and challenging to create the new 2012 SAP TechEd Live video content.  Challenging because it's not the first year that we do it, and we always want to run better, innovate and surprise you.  Exciting, because we want to bring you the most current, interesting and up-to-date subject matter.  We always keep in mind that this content is created for attendees that couldn't see it all and also to give the large audience who didn't have the chance to attend,  a taste of what SAP TechEd is about and why they should  definitely sign-up for next year!

So, we record about 20% of the lectures (most in demand  ). Among the topics you will find SAP HANA, mobile, cloud and ABAP as well as deep-dives into new features ,updated roadmaps, and best practices. The recorded lectures were hand-picked by an expert team led by christina.miller2, bernhard.steigleider and nicola.schroeder.

In addition to the lectures, there’s a live studio recording of interviews throughout SAP TechEd Las Vegas, Madrid and Bangalore taking advantage of the great attendees that we have onsite.  We call in experts, SCN members, influencers, speakers, mentors and more to discuss in depth what’s happening now and behind the scenes.  The interviews that are pulled together by brian.bernardbrian.bernard in Las Vegas and Madrid, and jason.lax in Bangalore (cheers to both of them) bring together over 200 guests, including SAP board members.  However, it’s not just about getting the right combination of people in front for the camera: the relevance and freshness of the topics give the interviews additional excitement on stage.

In total, 232 videos were created at SAP TechEd 2012 worldwide, including: Keynotes, Lectures,Interviews, Demo Jams, InnoJams , SAP TechEd People & Highlights.

So, while it doesn’t quite compare to being at SAP TechEd in person, watching SAP TechEd Online is as close as you can get.  Yes, as the producer for SAP TechEd Live, you probably think I am biased when I recommend the videos—but you don’t have to take my word for it! Just check for yourself the complete selection of videos that are available for free and have already been viewed over 200,000 times.  Then come back and share with me and the team what you think!
